Tailor/Seamstress

Looking for a tailor/alterations specialist with a passion for working with tailored women's garments. This is very flexible position, an ideal candidate would be one with experience fitting/doing alterations.

```Duties:```
- Perform alterations and repairs on garments according to customer specifications
- Use sewing machines, sergers, and other tools to complete sewing tasks
- Measure and mark garments for alterations
- Sew buttons, zippers, and other fasteners onto garments
- Hem garments to desired length
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of all alterations

```Requirements:```
- Proven experience as a seamstress or tailor
- Proficient in garment construction techniques and sewing machine operation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with clients effectively
- Knowledge of fashion retail industry trends and styles

Candidate is able to perform alterations on site or in the comfort of their own facilities if preferred. Candidate can set weekly hours based on their availability when they can see customer for fittings and then work on the alterations in their own time.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.56 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 20 per week
