SalaryWe are searching for an experienced Seamstress/Tailor to join our team part-time. We offer a flexible schedule and fun work environment. Pay will depend on experience level/skills.
5+ years of sewing experience is preferred. This person must able to complete sewing tasks independently and in a timely manner. Our business specializes in formal alterations and women's custom made clothing, but we also offer general alterations. Typical alterations will include, but are not limited to: prom dresses, wedding dresses, bridesmaid dresses, men's suiting, jeans, shirts, blazers, etc.
In addition to sewing, other potential responsibilities include: conducting fittings with customers, answering phone calls, scheduling appointments and checking customers out.
*Required skills: sew rolled hem, sew horse hair hem, hand sew beading, sew appliqué, industrial sewing machine use, fluent in English
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
