Job Description
OVERVIEW
Supervise labor, equipment and processes associated with daily warehouse operations. Work closely with other Department Managers to maximize resources and to maintain a cohesive work environment to ensure all daily goals are met.
RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)
1. Define measureable, individual performance goals, monitor and communicate via regular feedback and annual performance reviews.
2. Provide developmental opportunities for all direct reports.
3. Coach direct reports to maximize development of internal talent.
4. Schedule and supervise all labor and equipment associated with selecting, put module, staging and pallet checking
5. Monitor compliance with all applicable regulatory (OSHA, USDA, HACCP, Health Department, and Department of Labor) requirements as well as Sheetz policies/procedures.
6. Investigate inventory discrepancies for accountability.
7. Promote a culture of customer service and satisfaction by creating, communicating, training, and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures for all tasks within the department.
8. Source vendors and solicit bids for major purchases and services.
9. Monitor and create reports on operational performance metrics.
10. Support continuous improvement efforts throughout the supply chain.
QUALIFICATIONS
(Equivalent combinations of education, licenses, certifications and/or experience may be considered)
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Trade/Technical/Sheetz training
- 5 years experience in selecting goods/materials with minimum of 1 year supervising others required
- None required
- Motorized Equipment (generators, pressure washer, fork lift, etc.)
