Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Parts Manager to join our team. As a Parts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Parts Department, including inventory management, procurement, and order management. Your role is crucial in ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the Parts Department, including inventory control, ordering, and stocking
- Oversee shipping and receiving of parts and materials
- Coordinate with vendors to procure necessary parts and supplies
- Utilize order management systems to track orders and ensure timely delivery
- Collaborate with other departments to fulfill parts requests and maintain accurate records
- Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy and identify any discrepancies
- Implement and enforce warehouse management best practices
- Perform data entry tasks to update inventory records and generate reports
- Train and supervise Parts Department staff
Requirements:
- Proven experience in parts management or a related field
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, supply chain management, and procurement processes
- Proficient in using order management systems and other relevant software applications
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in managing inventory records
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make informed decisions quickly
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
