Team Wellness Center is a premier provider of community healthcare in Wayne County, Michigan. We are looking for a passionate and organized individual to be responsible for assisting Doctors with inputting medical reviews, taking notes, sending prescriptions, dictation, along with assisting with setting appointments, and prior authorizations.
Qualifications:
- A qualified individual must be able to type and have good communication
- High School diploma
- Excellent organizational skills, proficient computer skills and ability to multi-task.
- Professional phone etiquette and customer service skills
Responsibilities:
- Promotes and maintains a friendly and welcoming environment.
- Maintains schedule for Clinical Staff as directed.
- Answers phone lines promptly and courteously, retrieve and take accurate and complete messages and forwards calls and questions so as to aid the caller in obtaining a prompt reply
- Processes typing as assigned
- Faxing of documents as assigned
- Generate assigned reports
- Keep front lobby clean, as needed
- Track office supplies, place orders as needed, inventory and organize deliveries
- Receive, classify, and route incoming mail
- Run errands relevant to clinic operations; pick up/deliver medical records between locations, etc…
- Act as the liaison for communication between other TWC locations, Health Home Team Members, and other professionals
- Maintain compliance with Human Resource file, including training and education requirements
- All other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor
