POSITION SUMMARY:
The Supply Chain Management & Logistics Assistantis responsible for (but not limited to) tracking logistics, updating the company's inventory, analyzing operational performance and resolving issues on a weekly basis. This position also collaborates with vendors and suppliers to ensure all operations activities(e.g. Shipping, Delivery) meet required quality and safety standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Follow up orders via proper documentation such as hard copy, web based POD's, invoicing, and RA's
(POD : Proof of Delivery, RA : Return Authorization)
Report on the metrics of on time delivery regarding inbound logistics
Resolve shipping/receiving issues through carrier communication
Check orders in pick status and confirm their shipment
Carry out temporary RA's for damaged/rejected products
Provide daily/weekly/monthly reports using Excel, Microsoft Access, Power Point or Word regarding production, new shipment plans, a change in shipment plans, long term inventory, daily/weekly/monthly PSI, and others
Evaluate and report on KPIs
Monitor inventory levels to ensure the adequate amount of goods in stock
Work with other departments to coordinate activities such as shipping, receiving, storing, picking, packing, etc.
Find cost-effective solutions for supply chain process
Ensure a supply chain process meet legal requirements and standards
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in the Supply Chain Management, Logistics or relevant field
- Minimum of 1 year(s) of relevant experience in the field of material management, purchasing
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- TMS and/or WMS experience
- Bilingual in Korean
(TMS : Transportation Management System , WMS : Warehouse Management System)
- Ability to multitask under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficiency with computer skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and ability to learn other software
- Highly motivated, goal-oriented, customer-focused and enthusiastic about problem solving
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
