Scientific Data Bioinformatician

Performs analysis of data generated by members of the lab and publicly-available data from a variety of sources. Identifies available datasets to both generate hypotheses and validate experimental evidence. Helps guide experimental design for high throughput datasets.

Integrates datasets, including but not limited to RNA-Seq, ATAC-Seq, metabolomics, scRNA-Seq, ChIP-Seq, and others. Uses available pipelines and develops new pipelines to facilitate data and statistical analyses. Prepares quality figures and documents for grant applications, presentations, and publications.
