ProCare Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated School Nurse to join our team for the 2023-2024 school year. This position will be located in the Rock Hill, SC area and offers a unique opportunity to provide specialized healthcare support to a newly disabled quadriplegic high school student.
Job Details:
- Duration: Full 2023-2024 school year
- Student: Quadriplegic high school student
- Work Hours: 12:35 PM - 3:15 PM (student's bus schedule)
- Responsibilities: Ride the bus with the student between school and home both ways
- Additional Duties: Assist in a special education self-contained class as a classroom assistant for the other half of the day
- Potential for full day contracting based on district approval
Pay Range: $28 - $38 per hour (dependent on experience, credentials, and budget)
Requirements:
- Valid RN (Registered Nurse) or LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) license
- Experience in providing specialized care for students with disabilities
- Strong clinical skills and ability to manage medical needs of the student
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
