Registered Nurse - Infusion

We're seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse with outstanding IV skills to join us as an Infusion Nurse for a 1099 position. In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering hydration therapy to patients in their homes. The ideal candidate will reside within a close radius to downtown Greenville, possess a dependable car, and have general availability to take on cases. We particularly encourage applications from semi-retired nurses interested in earning extra income. The role involves delivering one to three infusions per day.

Responsibilities

• Administer and oversee infusion therapy treatments for patients in their homes.
• Conduct assessments as necessary.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team and execute patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on infusion therapy procedures
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions or complications during infusion therapy.
• Accurately and promptly document patient information, treatment plans, and progress notes.

Requirements

• Possession of a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in SC.
• At least 1 year of experience in acute care, ER or a similar environment.
• Proficiency in conducting physical examinations and primary care procedures.
• Basic life support (BLS) certification is mandatory; advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Outstanding IV skills.

Job Types: Contract, Per diem

Pay: $35.00 - $75.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 – 15 per week
