Schools - Behavior Specialist

ProCare Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and qualified Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in St. Paul, Minnesota. This is an exciting contract opportunity to work in a school setting and make a positive impact on the lives of students with diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities:

• Implementing behavior intervention plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
• Providing one-on-one and small-group support to students with autism spectrum disorders and other behavior challenges
• Collecting and analyzing data on student behavior to track progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Collaborating with teachers, special education staff, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment
• Assisting in the development and implementation of individualized behavior support plans
• Conducting functional behavior assessments as needed

Requirements:

• Valid Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
• Previous experience working with students with autism or other developmental disorders
• Ability to follow behavior intervention plans and collect accurate data
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the varying needs of students
