The School Psychologist position is a direct impact position at Project Play Therapy whose focus is to facilitate quality service delivery for our school partners and families. As a School Psychologist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the academic, social-emotional, and behavioral landscape for students, empowering them to reach their fullest potential. The ideal candidate for the position would be willing to collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team to deliver psycho-educational services and offer expert guidance to support our school partners in addressing the diverse needs of their students. Empower Your Skills:
- Take a lead role in the problem solving process for individual student needs through psycho-educational evaluation, consultation, and team collaboration meetings
- Work closely with school-based teams to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations while providing holistic student supports centered around data-based decision-making
- Consult with school teams relative to student educational and social-emotional concerns, data analysis, MTSS and
- Response to Intervention (to include TN state guidelines), and support systems/structures
- Engage and partner with school staff, family members, and community partners to seek collaborative solutions to support students impacted by trauma

Candidate Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree or Educational Specialist Degree (Ed.S.) or higher in School Psychology required
- Tennessee State License as a School Psychologist (current TN Professional School Service Personnel license with endorsement in School Psychology); National Certification (NCSP) is preferred, but not required
- Has experience working in schools with a solid understanding of IDEA, eligibility and IEP processes
- Demonstrates a growth mindset, a positive attitude, and believes that all children can reach their fullest potential with the right support
Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Pay: $62,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
Expected hours: No less than 15 per week
