- Function as a School Psychologist to administer extensive psycho-educational evaluations for all students referred for such evaluations and to compile data into complete psycho-educational reports with timely submission to the school district
- Participation in conferences with school staff members and parents relative to test findings and their interpretation
- Attend MET/IEP conferences and making appropriate recommendations
- Comply with all IDEA regulations and Arizona revised Statutes Sections 15-765-767
- Provide counseling to students and parents relative to academic, social and other personal problems
- Assist teachers and administrators in maintaining compliance with State and Federal mandates relative to special education
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Must obtain an Arizona's Driver's license by date of hire and maintain it throughout employment. Final Job offer is contingent upon a satisfactory 5-year Arizona motor-vehicle report.
Preferred qualifications: 5 years + experience in the field, strong communication skills, strong writing skills, experience with IEPs, team player.
This position is exempt from overtime. Note:Individuals in exempt classifications as part time employees may be classified as non-exempt per FLSA law regarding minimum weekly salary requirements.
