A School Registered Nurse (RN) position has opened in our school near Monroe, NC. We are currently sourcing for candidates who are interested in the following setting for the 2023-2024 school year. You will play a pivotal role in promoting the health and wellness of our students and staff while ensuring a positive and healthy school environment.
Job Description:
As a School Nurse, you will play a crucial role in promoting a healthy and safe school environment. You will work with students, parents, teachers, and other staff members to ensure the physical and emotional well-being of our high school community.
Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor s or Associate s Degree in Nursing
• Must have North Carolina RN License or Compact License
• Certification by the American Nurses' Association (ANA) and/or the National Association of School Nurses (NASN) within 3 years of hire date.
• Previous experience in pediatrics or schools preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct healthcare services to students and staff, including first aid, administering medications, and managing medical emergencies.
• Develop and implement individualized health care plans for students with chronic health conditions or special needs.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care and support for students' health needs.
• Educate students and staff on health-related topics and promote wellness initiatives within the school community.
