Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Forest Lake, MN
A School Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position has opened in our district. We are currently interviewing for candidates who are interested in making an impact. You will play a pivotal role in promoting the health and wellness of our students and staff while ensuring a positive and healthy school environment.
Job Description:
- This is a part-time position with 12 hours weekly.
- Candidate will be filling in around the district as needed.
- Will be working with K-12 students.
Job Qualifications:
- Associates Degree
- Must have valid Minnesota LPN license.
- Must be CPR and BLS certified.
- Previous experience in pediatrics or schools preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct healthcare services to students and staff, including first aid, administering medications, and managing medical emergencies.
- Develop and implement individualized health care plans for students with chronic health conditions or special needs.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care and support for students' health needs.
- Educate students and staff on health-related topics and promote wellness initiatives within the school munity.
