Under the direction of the school nurse:
- Administer first aid to sick or injured;
- Update student health records, maintain student health logs, medication records, permission slips, or other required forms;
- Prepare and maintain accident/injury reports;
- Schedule and participate in student screening;
- Administers medication with approval and under prescribed procedure of parent, physician or school nurse;
- Communicate with parents regarding health needs;
- Perform clerical and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- LPN license and CPR/First Aid Training
- Prior experience in a similar setting preferred
