We are looking for a dedicated and passionate LPN to provide healthcare services within our school setting. The contracted LPN will work closely with students, teachers, and administrators to ensure the health and safety of all individuals on campus. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an LPN to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students while contributing to their educational journey.

Responsibilities:

1. Administer first aid and medical assistance to students and staff as needed.
2. Monitor and manage student health conditions, including medication administration and management of chronic illnesses.
3. Perform health screenings and assessments to ensure pliance with state health regulations.
4. Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans for students with specific medical needs.
5. Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, and parents to promote a healthy and safe learning environment.
6. Maintain accurate and confidential medical records for all students and staff.
7. Educate students and staff on health-related topics, including proper hygiene practices and disease prevention.
8. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities as required.

Qualifications:

1. Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Illinois.
2. Previous experience working in a school or pediatric healthcare setting preferred.
3. Strong interpersonal and munication skills.
4. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
5. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
6. CPR and First Aid certification required.
7. Knowledge of state health regulations and guidelines for school healthcare services.
