Purpose: Responsible for serving food to school children and maintaining compliance with local, state, and federal regulations including public health and safety.
Job Summary: Serves food and maintains the kitchen, serving, and dining area.
General Responsibilities:
- Serve breakfast daily to elementary, middle, and high school students (maximum of 150 students)
- Serve lunch daily to elementary, middle, and high school students (maximum of 150 students) from steam table
- Set up service area daily
- Complete Daily Production Logs
- Washing and sanitizing of dishes
- Daily cleaning and sanitation of the Kitchen and Cafeteria areas
- Responsible for ensuring kitchen and Cafeteria adhere to Health Code standards
- Weekly ordering of milk
- Receives delivers and rotates inventory
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma
- Experience: 1 years experience in School Cafeteria preferred
- Knowledge of Child Nutrition guidelines
- Food Handler Certification a plus

- Mosaic Experience a plus
Physical Demands:
- Frequently required to sit, stand, walk and frequent stairs. Required to move about multi-level building, using stairs.
- Occasionally required to bend and/or lift (no more than 50 pounds).
Work Environment:
- Educational setting; ability to work with students
