School Based Virtual Occupational Therapist - West Virginia

Are you a passionate and experienced Occupational Therapist seeking a rewarding opportunity to provide virtual services to students from Kindergarten to 12th grade? We are currently seeking a full-time Virtual Occupational Therapist to join our team on a 1099 contract basis in West Virginia. This position offers the flexibility of remote work and the chance to make a positive impact on the lives of students.

Position:Virtual Occupational Therapist

Location:West Virginia (Remote)

Responsibilities:

• Provide Virtual Occupational therapy services to students in grades K-12.
• Conduct assessments, evaluations, and screenings to determine students' motor and sensory needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy interventions to address students' functional abilities and goals.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other team members to support student progress and success.
• Provide consultation and support to educational staff regarding accommodations and modifications to promote student participation and access to the curriculum.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
• Valid West Virginia state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
• Previous experience working as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in a school setting.
• Strong understanding of occupational therapy principles and techniques.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a virtual environment.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday (hours may vary)

Employment Type: 1099 Contract
