Are you a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) seeking a rewarding opportunity to provide virtual critical services to students in a school-based setting? We are currently looking for a Virtual Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in California, offering the flexibility of remote work while making a significant impact on the munication and academic success of our students.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and munication abilities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and goals to address students' specific speech and language needs.
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions through virtual platforms to improve students' munication skills.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students.
- Monitor and track student progress, adjusting intervention strategies as necessary.
- Participate virtually in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide valuable input to support students' educational goals.
- Utilize technology effectively to engage and motivate students during virtual sessions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessments, progress reports, and therapy sessions.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or munication Disorders from an accredited program.
- Current license to practice Speech Language Pathology in Colorado.
- Certification of Clinical petence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
- Experience working in a school-based setting is a plus, but new graduates are also encouraged to apply.
- Proficient in using virtual platforms for therapy sessions.
- Strong understanding of speech and language disorders and various therapeutic approaches.
- Excellent munication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues in a virtual environment.
