We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Scheduling Coordinator to join our team. The Scheduling Coordinator will be responsible for managing the consumer schedules and ensuring efficient coverage while keeping overtime at a minimum. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining multiple schedules and with excellent communication skills.
```Duties```
- Schedule direct support staff for each consumer's home
- On Call for all after hour scheduling needs
- Approval/deny time off requests
- Answer phone calls and respond any scheduling needs, changes or issues
- Maintain accurate records for all time off requests
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations of all staffing
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to maintain consumer confidentiality
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed
```Requirements```
- Previous experience as a Scheduling Coordinator
- Familiarity with individual supported living programs is a plus
- Proficient in typing and other computer skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain consumer confidentiality
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with all staff members
