Job Summary:
As an MECM System Administrator, you will be responsible for the maintenance and management of the SCCM/MECM infrastructure. Serving as the subject matter expert (SME) for SCCM/MECM, you will play a key role in training and mentoring junior members of the team.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Endpoint Configuration Management:
- Design, implement, and maintain endpoint management solutions utilizing SCCM/MECM and Intune.
- Develop and manage deployment packages, task sequences, and application deployments.
Security Compliance:
- Ensure that endpoints comply with security policies and industry regulations.
- Implement security baselines and configurations for robust endpoint protection.
Patch Management:
- Devise and uphold patch management strategies for operating systems and applications.
- Monitor and generate reports on patch compliance across the organization.
- Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:
- Investigate and resolve endpoint-related issues promptly.
- Provide escalated support for complex endpoint problems.
Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all endpoint management processes and configurations.
- Develop and update knowledge base articles for common issues and resolutions.
Automation:
- Identify opportunities for automation in endpoint management processes to enhance efficiency.
- Develop scripts and automation workflows as required.
Education and Experience:
Possess relevant Microsoft certifications.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Proven experience working with MECM and Intune in large enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of Windows operating systems, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
- Experience with endpoint security, including MS Defender, and adherence to best practices.
- Proficient scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, VBScript, etc.).
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Microsoft certifications related to MECM and Intune are advantageous.
Work Environment:
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, typical of an office setting where the employee works at an individual workstation using a telephone and computer.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for most of the day.
- Constant operation of a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a printer/copy machine.
- Occasional movement within the office environment.
- Frequent communication via telephone.
