Scanning and Digital Document Specialist

This role is with KBR's GAM, Global Asset Management group. At GAM, we provide our customers with a range of services including Regulatory and Customer Compliance of Property Systems, Import/Export Trade Compliance, Material Management, Stockrooms/Tool Cribs/Receiving, Engineering Tool Design and Rework/Repairs, Records Management, Distribution Services, Capital Asset Management, Development & Production-Equipment Maintenance, and Facilities Project Management.
The Scanning and Digital Document Specialist will:
- Scan documents to a computer and place documents in network folders/drop boxes in an office environment of a large manufacturing facility.
- Remove documents from binders for scanning to e-copies and reassembling documents back in their original order.
- Create custom laminated documents: brochures, newsletters, banners, posters, CAD drawings etc.
- Deliver print products that exceed the client's expectations through quality assurance and inline with our approach to right the first-time.
- Operate electronic, large-format printers using computer.
- Utilize printing and graphics software; maintaining duplicate files, logs, and records as required.
- Research and recommend scanning/printing equipment, parts, and supplies.
- Report metrics of completed scans and printed documents.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma, and 1 year of previous experience in an office work environment.
- Requires excellent visual skills and manual dexterity.
- Document handling accuracy is paramount.
- Must be able to work effectively and efficiently under deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with document scanning hardware and software.
- Must have strong organizational and computer skills.
- Must be able to quickly and accurately prioritize job requests.
- Able to work under pressure with deadlines.
- Ability to lift moderately heavy boxes (less than 50 pounds) of paper stocks or other supplies.
- Requires some walking, standing, stooping, and bending.
- May be required to sit for long periods of time.
- Well organized work habits and manage time wisely.
- Attention to detail and excellent customer service abilities are a must.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
College level coursework.
- Communication or graphic design.
