Educational Requirements:
- High school diploma- Completion of technical program preferred
Qualifications and Skills:
- Ability to prioritize work flow in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills with staff, physicians and patients
- High level of computer proficiency
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines
- Medical records experience a plus
- Knowledge of medical terminology a plus
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Scanning medical documents into EMR system
- Responding to medical records requests/questions
- Retrieving medical records documents from the offices for scanning
- Disposal of scanned medical records
- Miscellaneous medical records duties as assigned
Compensation: $16-$25/hr
