Scanner/Administrative Assistant

Job Description

Scanner

• Prep tax source documents for scanning-

• (Remove paper clips, staples, etc.)

• Create routing sheet from Practice CS
• Scan, documents, quality control of documents
• Upload scanned documents to SurePrep where the documents will be bookmarked
• Move project along to preparer in Practice CS
• Deliver documents to said preparer and/or prep shelf
• Other tasks as needed

• general scanning
• binding of tax returns
• deliver mail/inner office information

Requirements:

• Ability to maintain total confidentiality concerning Firm and client matters
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, especially Word and Outlook. A comfortable, working knowledge of such accounting software programs as, Ultra Tax, and other Thomson products is a plus!
• Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work assignments
• Excellent customer service mindset
• Excellent written, proofreading, problem solving, and oral communication skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to bend at the waist, kneel, stoop
• Ability to lift and carry up to 15-20 pounds
• Ability to reach above shoulders
