Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:30 am
Rotating Days Off (Subject To Change)
General Purpose: Ensure that proper packaging is completed before load out as per packaging instructions. Stack product packaged boxes unto pallets and safely drive boxed product with a forklift to the Warehouse.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Weigh and stack finished boxed product onto pallets
- Double check to make sure that each case is weighed correctly
- Ensure that finished case weight scale has correct information as per packaging instructions
- Properly fill out packaging logs as required
- Calibrate scale and do routine weight checks
- Bring pallets, boxes and other packaging materials as needed
- Relief packaging Lead Person for breaks and lunches
- Enter information into SAP
- Check metal detector as required
- Complete checklist on lift trucks
- Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
- Dedicate effort to safety as we expect every employee to leave work in the same condition as they arrive
- Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements
- Exhibit the values and ethics of Dairy Farmers of America through honesty, discretion, and sound judgment
- Adhere to all DFA Quality, Safety and GMP policies and procedures and report any nonconformity
- Attend required training, including but not limited to, Safety, GMP, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP), and Safe Quality Foods (SQF)
- Responsible for monitoring and taking corrective actions when necessary for a critical control point as part of the plant HACCP plan
- Ensure that all documentation is done correctly and turned in promptly

Pay
- Competitive pay based on experience - $20.51 to $24.70 per hour based on experience
- Rate includes $1.00 shift differential for hours worked between 6 PM and 6 AM

Minimum Requirements:
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required
- Must be able to subtract, add, multiply and divide
- Must possess computer skills
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Must be flexible with schedule as start time is subject to change
- Must be able to learn position with the training period provided
- Must be able to pass lift truck certification
- Must be able to learn all equipment associated with packaging department
- Ability to work with others as a team to meet production schedules
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
Compensation: $20.51 to $24.70 per hour
