Responsibilities:

• Keeps track of trucks entering the facility for the purpose of weighing in to dispose of Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) at the Resource Authority.
• Understand the basic operation of the Resource Authority ands where the MSW is to be deposited by directing the customer to the proper location.
• Communicate with the staff via 2-way radio to assure that the material (MSW) is deposited in the proper location.
• Accurately process cash and check transactions for the tipping fee.
• Enforce the Resource Authority's policies and procedures.
• Enter alphabetic and numeric data into the scale processing software for transaction.
• Verify data entered prior to finalizing and printing the ticket.
• Make necessary corrections to data entered.
• Compile, sort and verify accuracy of data entered.
• keep record of all work completed.
• Transmit entered information into database.
• File or route source documents after entry.
• Respond to inquires regarding entered data.
• Operate multi-line phone.
• Operate 10 key calculator.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
