Job Summary and Qualifications
Seeking a Payroll Service Center Team Leadwho will perform the payroll processing function and assist the Payroll Service Center Manager in providing guidance to payroll staff. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other and are seeking phenomenal addition like you. We want you to apply today!
What you will do in this role:
- Complete some of the more complex payroll functions; including, ensuring payroll files have been generated and transmitted, quarterly balancing and year-end balancing.
- Provide guidance to Payroll Service Center staff including training new staff.
- Assist in research and resolution of payroll transactions.
- Provide feedback and make recommendations for changes to applicable forms/tools and processes.
- Set an example for staff by maintaining a positive attitude in all interactions.
- Stay informed on all multi-state regulatory requirements and company policies.
What qualifications you will need:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Advanced education preferred, but not required
- Minimum 2 years of payroll processing experience required
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Experience with healthcare payroll preferred
- Experience in a consolidated, multi-state payroll environment preferred
- Certified Payroll Professional considered a plus
