Overview 

Scale House Attendant/ Scale House Asst Manager in our Aggregate division. In this position you will primarily be responsible for weighing trucks entering and leaving the quarry/sand pit. In addition, this position requires more responsibilities and an eye for detail.

Scale Duties

• Responsible for computation, reconciliation, recordkeeping, and reporting duties as assigned.
• Operate a truck scale indicator and weigh trucks accurately.
• Effectively and professionally solicit information from internal/external customers (both in person and over the phone) providing clear and concise verbal information and assistance.
• Coordinate with the superintendent to accurately report production and/or inventory discrepancies.
• Perform data entry tasks and generate sales tickets with speed and accuracy.
• Download and send all generated tickets, production, inventory adjustments, and cash sales to the office in a timely manner.
• Generate daily and monthly transaction reports and balance the stockpile inventory.
• Achieve and maintain superior housekeeping standards, keeping area free of dust and clutter, including but not limited to the scale house, the computer and printer.
• Regular and predictable attendance required at assigned times.

Assistant Duties

• Develop and oversee scale staff scheduling
• Handle all employee call outs
• Performing data entry tasks
• Develop and submit timecards in B2W
• When appropriate, travel/ cover other scales
• Oversee supply orders
• Relocate pits to accommodate position

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
