Overview
Scale House Attendant/ Scale House Asst Manager in our Aggregate division. In this position you will primarily be responsible for weighing trucks entering and leaving the quarry/sand pit. In addition, this position requires more responsibilities and an eye for detail.
Scale Duties
- Responsible for computation, reconciliation, recordkeeping, and reporting duties as assigned.
- Operate a truck scale indicator and weigh trucks accurately.
- Effectively and professionally solicit information from internal/external customers (both in person and over the phone) providing clear and concise verbal information and assistance.
- Coordinate with the superintendent to accurately report production and/or inventory discrepancies.
- Perform data entry tasks and generate sales tickets with speed and accuracy.
- Download and send all generated tickets, production, inventory adjustments, and cash sales to the office in a timely manner.
- Generate daily and monthly transaction reports and balance the stockpile inventory.
- Achieve and maintain superior housekeeping standards, keeping area free of dust and clutter, including but not limited to the scale house, the computer and printer.
- Regular and predictable attendance required at assigned times.
Assistant Duties
- Develop and oversee scale staff scheduling
- Handle all employee call outs
- Performing data entry tasks
- Develop and submit timecards in B2W
- When appropriate, travel/ cover other scales
- Oversee supply orders
- Relocate pits to accommodate position
