The Shared Business Services Center (SBSC) is seeking highly motivated individuals to join its team of specialists! This is a temporary position, and the specialist will work 30-35 hours, on campus in a shared space, Monday through Friday. The SBSC has core values focused on: excellent customer service, effective communication, efficient operations, flexibility and innovation, integrity and transparency. Financial Specialists are responsible for daily financial support that includes but is not limited to payment processing, tracking payments and maintaining financial documentation. Payment processing ranges from inputting invoices and requisitions in Peoplesoft, allocating expenses to the correct chart field, and assisting departments with purchases.

Job Location
Required Education: High School Diploma or GED
Skills:
- Working knowledge of financial or accounting to include analysis, auditing, and budgeting Ability to understand a chart of accounts and code entries to proper account Detail oriented for accuracy of data and information Highly organized and ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines Ability to communicate well and build rapport with students, faculty, and staff
Department Preferences:
