What you'll do

 

Position Title: SAP iXp Intern - Data Center Management

 

Location: Newtown Square, PA

 

Expected Start Date: April 2024

 

Contract Duration: 6 months

 

Work Hours: 40 hours per week

 

  • Assist with on-site build and decommission activities of IT equipment
  • Taking over small projects
  • Perform daily ticketing and walkthroughs of Data Center
  • Process development & improvement
  • Unique opportunity to get insights into SAP's core: the Data Center

 

What you bring

 

We're looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

 

  • Student at a university or a university of applied sciences
    • Preferred fields of study: IT, Applied Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, engineering, Business Studies
  • Computer skills: 
    • Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint) = mandatory
    • Statistics tools = optional
  • Language skills:  fluent in English 
  • Soft skills:  Active Listening, empathy, problem solving, self-confidence, capacity for teamwork
  • Bonus: Basic knowledge in Data Center Hardware (Compute, Network, Storage), certificates in IT service management or project management

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP's commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the hourly base salary rate range applicable for the posted role.
