Job Description
Job Summary: Responsible for data management and reporting for grant funded programs, including but not limited to DHH, DVACO, Access Matters, PDPH. Collaborates with QI-QA staff to develop data driven solutions to reach quality improvement goals.
Communication: Good oral and written communication skills are required for this position. The person in this position must be able to communicate effectively with the clients, staff, and others; and contribute to a positive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Management
- In collaboration with AD of Health Informatics (ADHI), develop data collection and data entry protocols for each electronic data collection system
- Develop quality assurance reports to analyze data for completeness and accuracy
- Oversee regular data clean-up in all data collection systems
- Coordinate data integration and aggregate reporting among the electronic data collection systems
- As appropriate, oversee the transfer of data (electronically or manually) from Athena Health EMR to the data collection systems required for reporting (Evaluation Web, CareWare).
Reporting
- Assist with generating monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for funders
- Generate data reports for internal use as needed
Program Monitoring and Evaluation
- With ADHI, assist with work for QI-QA Committee
- Work with ELT and QI Lead to develop annual Quality Improvement Work Plan identifying Quality Assurance and Performance Measures for all Mazzoni Center interventions based on funding requirements and program evaluation needs
- With ADHI, develop data collection tools (hard-copy and/or electronic) to collect and aggregate Quality Performance Measures
- With ADHI, design and implement client satisfaction surveys with program-specific as well as agency-wide data variables
- Aggregate, analyze, and report client survey data
Other
- Participate in monthly Director/Manager Meetings
- Participate in monthly All Staff Meetings
- Participate in Departmental Meetings as appropriate
Education, Training, License and Certification, Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of Bachelor degree, Masters preferred
- Familiarity with electronic data collection systems (prior experience with CareWare, Evaluation Web, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft ACCESS, and/or Electronic Medical Records preferred)
- Prior experience with social service data collection and data analysis
- Prior experience with social service program evaluation
Clearances:
- Background checks are required, including Criminal Background Clearance, Child Abuse Clearance, and FBI Clearance.
Physical Requirements:
1. The ability to stand, sit and walk for extended periods of time
2. The ability to lift objects greater than 35 pounds
3. The ability to communicate using written and spoken words
4. Must demonstrate visual and auditory acuity
5. Must have all necessary vaccinations
6. Annual PPD
