The Data Center Network Services Manager, leads a technical support team that provide technical support for the design and building of technical solutions. The ideal candidate will provide leadership in designing, developing, and implementing solutions in support of the business, according to standards and policies.
In this role you will:
- Hire, evaluate, and supervise crew. Provide guidance and training as necessary to develop crew. Set performance standards, review performance, and make informed compensation decisions in accordance with all applicable Human Resources policies and procedures.
- Manage the resolution of the most complex platform issues elevated from staff and clients.
- Manage technical support staff who implement, monitor, troubleshoot, and install platforms across all systems. Plans, develops, and executes short range goals and strategies to meet department, divisional, and corporate objectives.
- Develop and implements changes to department policies and standard operating procedures to meet changing business needs. Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement. Leads quality initiatives to improve the delivery of service levels.
- Responsible for delivering hardware and software maintenance and ensuring maintenance of critical technology is completed. Collaborates with key stakeholders to develop and maintain standards for platforms. Implements new technologies for enterprise-wide infrastructure projects.
- Develop technical standards to serve Vanguard technical needs. Manages the ongoing performance of IT vendor products and services.
- Learn and understands client area business functions and requirements. Determines the appropriate technical tool to address the client's business needs.
- Participate in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
What it takes:
Minimum of 8-10+ years technical leadership/management experience.
Minimum of 2-5+years of people leadership experience
Undergraduate degree in a related field or the equivalent combination of training and experience.
