Responsibilities:
- Prepare sandwiches according to customer specifications and company recipes
- Ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients used in sandwich preparation
- Operate kitchen equipment such as slicers, grills, and ovens
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders and answering customer questions
- Handle cash transactions using a cash register or point-of-sale system (e.g., Aloha POS)
- Upsell additional menu items or promotions to customers
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking ingredients and supplies
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding food handling, safety, and cleanliness
Qualifications:
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
- Previous experience in the food industry or a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and proper food handling procedures
- Strong time management skills to ensure efficient sandwich production during peak hours
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment such as slicers, grills, and ovens
