We are seeking a Sandwich Maker to join our team at a bustling sandwich shop on 40th and Dodge. As a Sandwich Maker, you will play a crucial role in creating delicious sandwiches and providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities:
- Prepare sandwiches according to customer orders, following established recipes and portion sizes
- Slice, chop, and prepare ingredients such as meats, cheeses, vegetables, and condiments
- Assemble sandwiches with accuracy and attention to presentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen area
- Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper handling and storage of ingredients
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service while taking orders and answering questions
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate sandwich preparation
- Knowledge of retail math for cash handling purposes
- Experience in food handling and preparation techniques
- Culinary skills for creating delicious sandwiches with quality ingredients
- Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive dining experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment operation and basic maintenance
