Responsibilities:
- Prepare menu items according to customer specifications and established recipes
- Ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients used
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the preparation area
- Handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service
- Operate the POS system for order taking and payment processing
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
- Follow all food safety regulations and guidelines
Skills:
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure accurate sandwich preparation
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
- Knowledge of retail math for inventory management
- Familiarity with food industry standards and practices
- Proficiency in using TOAST POS system or similar point-of-sale systems
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
