Jacobs Entertainment is currently in search of an "IT Manager" for Sands Regency. The Sands is a full-service hotel-casino with over 300 rooms and wide variety of Slots, Table Games, and Bingo. The property offers a fully renovated Buffet and boasts the largest outdoor pool in downtown Reno.

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assists in the planning and implementation of additions, deletions, and major modifications to the Gold Dust West informational infrastructure
- Help Desk Administration - Monitors and completes all help desk tickets for the property
- Responds to escalated help desk issues
- Interacts with internal clients on all levels to help resolve IT-related issues and provides answers in a timely manner
- Telephony - Assists in all telephone changes
- Oversees troubleshooting, systems backups, archiving and disaster recovery, and provides expert support when necessary
- Builds and maintains vendor relationships and manages the purchase of hardware and software products
- Ensures that company assets are maintained responsibly
- Seeks and participates in development opportunities above and beyond training required by the Gold Dust West casinos
Skills, Education and Other Requirements
- Demonstrated technical skills in IT operations and systems management
- Ability to multitask in a demanding environment
- Expertise in providing support of various distributed systems' hardware and software in a predominately Dell, Microsoft, and Cisco environment
- Bachelor's Degree or higher or Equivalent Work Experience
- Must have two or more years of practical IT Management Experience
- Requires State of Nevada Gaming license
- Identification that establishes identity
