Sample Control Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a Sample Control/data entry technician to join our laboratory team and help us manage and process water and soil samples for testing and analysis. You will be responsible for receiving, logging, labeling, and storing samples.

Duties

• Receive and inspect samples ensuring they meet the acceptance criteria and documentation requirements.
• Login samples in the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
• Label samples that have been logged and scan samples into the designated storage areas.
• Communicate with the laboratory and project management departments regarding sample availability or issues.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Previous experience as a Sample Control Technician or similar role in a laboratory setting preferred.
• Proficient in data entry
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and organizational skills.

This is a full time position with schedule to be arranged with supervisor.
