Qualifications

• Greet and welcome clients as they arrive at the salon
• Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
• Provide information about salon services and products to clients
• Process payments and manage the cash register
• Maintain a clean and organized reception area
• Assist stylists and technicians with any and all client needs
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints
• Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management

Requirements

• Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a salon or spa setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities
• Multilingual skills are a plus
• Knowledge of retail math for cash handling purposes
• Arrive 15 minutes before opening to setup for the beginning of the day and must be able to stay until the end of the workday
• In addition, have the flexibility to stay later if needed
• Assisting clients when they enter salon.
• Checking them in and escorting them to changing rooms and finally to their seats.
• Confirming appointments and assisting guests with choosing the right hair products
• Have the willingness to learn and grow and be a team player

We are seeking a friendly and professional Salon Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive salon experience. Social Media is a plus. If you have a passion for the beauty industry, excellent communication skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
