Job Description
Salon Manager
- Assist with new stylist's training needs.
- Liaison between client and stylist on hair styling requests that the stylist may need assistance with.
- Aid in training salon assistants and evaluating progress through the Versus training check-off list.
- Report training issues or learning deficits to the Salon Manager to evaluate collectively.
- Assisted in conducting training classes with the Salon Manager once a quarter.
- Give input on the stylist’s performance for quarterly evaluations.
- Communicate with the Salon Manager on training issues stylists must implement to ensure client satisfaction.
- Handling escalated disputes between stylists and clients, informing the assistant manager for documentation.
- Human resources and Recruitment of new talent
- Payroll
- Handling disciplinary issues with staff, some with or without Assistant Salon Manager notification.
- The artistic Director of hair styling within the salon maintains an on-trend vision.
- Training of all stylists on service and retail.
- Assessing stylist's deficits by implementing specific training on an individual basis(one-on-one)
- Staff evaluations on performance, including client, retail, and service sales.
- Handling escalated disputes between stylists and clients.
- Ensuring client satisfaction with all hair services.
- Approving visual pictures for promotion for the salon.
- Ensuring a good flow between staff, allocation of time for services, and overall Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities
* Manage systems and procedures for the salon daily and oversee all aspects of general salon coordination.
* Maintains confidentiality in all aspects of client, staff, and salon business information.
* Correspondence to all inquiries via telephone, all social media, and email regarding client inquiries
* Coordinate and maintain records for staff, including monthly staff evaluations
* Input in developing in-salon promotions and advertising as scheduled.
* Monitor inventory weekly to provide purchasing needs.
* Maintaining / Reviewing all client scheduling and inquiries, confirming services, and verifying the correct time allotted for services to make sure the salon is at its maximum profit capability
