As a Salesforce QA Engineer II, you will work with other members of the team to design and implement test cases, plans, and scripts that result in high-quality, fully functional, well-documented products. You will be required to meet all quality standards for your project. You will be expected to provide accurate scoring and/or work effort estimations, and risk assessments and participate in scheduled development.

Additional Responsibilities

• Design test processes and procedures used to ensure that software operates within defined requirements.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Implement test plans, automation, and validation strategies.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts to reduce repetitive manual testing.
• In-depth functional testing – Must be able to evaluate functional stability to ensure business requirements are being met and are "fit-for-purpose" through end-to-end functional and automation testing.
• Work closely with software developers and business analysts to resolve issues.
• Communicate any obstacles to raise awareness and avoid project impediments and overall project timeline disruption.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Developers on tasks related to the planning, testing, and coordination of release activities.
• Participate in the user story creation process through the dissection of high-level requirements during team review sessions.
• Other duties as assigned to support the general purpose of the position's function.

Experience

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business or a related field.
• 3-5 years of work experience in Quality Assurance roles with automation testing experience
• General understanding of various Salesforce platforms and experienced in administration/testing/analysis in at least one platform such as Salesforce Salescloud.
• Work in a general office environment.
• Work varying hours, as required, including nights and weekends. Some travel may be required (out of town and/or overnight).

Preferred Experience

• Experience with automation testing and familiarity with testing tools such as JMeter and Selenium.
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with working in Agile / Fast Paced Development Environment.
• Possesses a track record of excellent performance, proactivity, and exceptional work practices.
• Experienced with Microsoft VSTS / other Agile Development Tools is a big plus.
