This position will support a federal IT program through various project operations and management functions.

Roles and Responsibilities

A solid Software Developer needed to support cloud based implementation efforts. The candidate will develop software and must be proficient in Salesforce development technologies such as Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, Lightning Web Components or similar experience with Java/JEE, PHP and frameworks such as React, Angular or Bootstrap. The candidate must be located in the Washington DC metropolitan area and be willing to travel to the client site in downtown DC as required.

Specific Duties

● Develop software as a service (SaaS) software components

● Develop associated functional and unit test code

● Validate the code against unit tests, security tests, and profiling tools

● Validate the expected QA test cases within the development environment

● Prepare documentation covering code, errors, and recovery procedures

● Assist in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving defects encountered during various stages of testing and production, including during the deployment and implementation of the code in production environments

● Develop proof of concepts (POCs) as needed, integrating new components with back office systems during the design and requirements phase to evaluate products and integration strategies

Requirements

● Knowledge of HTML, XML, JavaScript and CSS

● Solid software development skills and fundamentals such as knowledge of data structures, object-oriented programming, relational database design, and design patterns

● A minimum of 4 years’ experience with Salesforce Apex preferred or 2 years of experience in Java/JEE development

● Experience with using IDEs such as VSCode or IntelliJ and source control tools such as bitbucket

● Knowledge of frameworks such as React, Angular or Bootstrap are a plus

● Agile software development experience

● Consulting experience

● Salesforce Platform Developer I required; Salesforce Platform Developer II preferred

● Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent

● Authorized to work for any U.S. employer
