ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for a Business Analyst with a process-driven mindset and a passion for user experience (UX) design, data structures, and analytics.
Join our Information Systems team and design and deliver user experiences on the Salesforce platform for efficiency and growth across all departments of the firm.
As a Business Analyst, you will play a role in most development projects, keeping the user at the center of the implementation. By staying engaged with the strategic vision of the firm and educating yourself on our current processes, you will identify gaps in our user experience (UX) and work to close them while staying aligned with the development pipeline. You have curiosity in spades and the proactiveness to act upon that curiosity. You are willing to grasp the development side of things; although you won’t need to code anything, over time, you will need to understand how the system works so you can design for it.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This is a varied business-facing role with the following responsibilities:
- Support the Business Applications Manager in gathering requirements from a user experience (UX) and from an overall systems process perspective.
- Design and re-design operational user experiences related to our 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund and World Trade Center Health Program claim submission process flow.
- Participate in user research and testing to better understand user needs and behaviors.
- Advocate for the users’ perspective when collaborating internally with the other members of the Information Systems team and externally across departments.
- Create documentation and presentations to communicate clear and compelling ideas to a wide range of critical stakeholders.
- Identify and gather requirements, translating into best practice scalable solutions with a focus on exceptional user experience (UX).
- Optimize flows, interactions, and visual interfaces for intuitive, human-centered experiences built on the Salesforce platform.
- Participate in design critiques, both as the evaluator and presenter.
- Ability to work in the office four days a week.
QUALIFICATIONS AND BACKGROUND:
Required
- Strong Salesforce product knowledge and hands-on experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud, Sales Cloud, or Service Cloud
- Salesforce Administrator Experience
- User Experience (UX) Design Experience
- Salesforce Administrator Certification
- Salesforce User Experience (UX) Designer Certification
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, human-computer interaction, or equivalent
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Required:

- Ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels

- Experience in change management and governance
- Training end users and key stakeholders

- Experience implementing Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to) flows, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic forms, custom apps, actions, custom metadata types, mobile administration, dashboards, and reports
- Experience using mockups, prototypes, and visual aids such as Lucidchart
- Experience designing conversational flows for text-based chatbots
- Demonstrates continued professional development
- Active in the Salesforce community
Salary Range:
$90,000 - $100,000
