Title: Salesforce Administrator/Developer

Location: Columbia, MD (Hybrid)

Duration/Type: Fulltime Permanent Role

As a Salesforce Administrator, you will be responsible for administering and managing the Salesforce solution working closely with commercial, marketing, external customers, and engineering within a fast-paced environment. This position is open as contract or direct hire.

Responsibilities

• Translate functional requirements and designs into technical requirements
• Support in application designing and development of good quality, reusable, and reliable Apex code with best practices
• Exercise independent judgment and discretion in overall project management & day-to-day activities.
• Display proven analytical and interpersonal skills in working closely with internal teams (Development, Project Management and Production Support) to ensure highest level of quality for software release
• Creating a build deployment plan based on infrastructure and integration requirements
• Write test classes for the class that you develop and ensure sufficient code coverage
• Identify bugs and align with requirements during debugging
• Briefing the plan to all stakeholders and ensuring successful execution

Required Skills & Experience

• Should have 5+ years of salesforce development experience with min 2 years of lightning project development experience; certifications are a plus
• 2+ years of experience with Marketing Cloud.
• Visual Force and Apex development, customizing Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud applications and utilizing App Exchange packages
• Experience in designing custom objects, custom fields, picklists, page layouts, workflow, approval processes, validation rules, custom tabs, reports, Visualforce pages, Apex classes, complex reports, dashboards, triggers and email generation according to application requirements
• Experience in Pardot customization and integration, digital engagement, Lightning design development, Lightning web component (LWC) development
• Ability to develop, track and create deployable packages across multiple environments. Writing deployment instructions – pre/post deployment steps
• Ability to provision new environments from scratch and configure Sandboxes for testing
• Ability to deploy the changes to other Sandbox environments and production environment
• Ability to communicate with customers and provide consultation on Salesforce solutions
• Hands-on experience in administration setup, e.g., managing users, security controls, and data as well as creating roles, profiles and permission sets
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to give optimal solutions
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills within individual functional areas and across intra-company departments

Required Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
