We are currently interviewing for NICE, EXPERIENCED, and PROFESSIONALAUTOMOTIVE COUNTER PEOPLE (Parts Managers, Assistant Managers, Parts Sales, Wholesale Specialists, Etc.) to join our wholesale sales team. Please read this entire description before applying. This is NOT an entry level position. Proven experience is required.
Harbor Chevrolet has been Loving Long Beach Since 1923. We are right around the corner from our 100th Anniversary and we are looking for the right people to join our team.
Harbor Chevrolet has one of the largest Service and Parts operations in Southern California and we are growing at a rapid pace. We have a giant wholesale parts operation that services dealers, body shops and customers all over SoCal. We need qualified candidates fast to help us manage this growth. We are breaking records and having a lot of fun at the same time.
To celebrate our 100th year, we are also building BRAND NEW state-of-the-art facilities for both Chevrolet & Hyundai (new showrooms, new service bays, new/expanded parts facilities). We are so excited to share these facilities with our team and customers. A facility to match our rich history!

THE REST OF THE STORY:
We have some great people in place already (we have a very large wholesale parts team). We are looking for people to support what we are already doing. It is critical that you have not only the SKILLS for the job, but also the TEAMWORK necessary to be part of a team with the focus of building something great (one of the largest, fastest, best wholesales parts operations in the Southern California).
We have a very rare opening on our team. Candidates should have applicable experience. Vast knowledge of GM and or Hyundai Parts Catalog is recommended. Your role would be to work with your accounts to provide world class customer service for Chevrolet & Hyundai parts (mainly collision parts, but we also want to grow our mechanical wholesale business). Most of your day is spent on the phone with your customers providing a high level of service. You also work in a workspace with other professionals like yourself, performing the same job, so playing nice with others is critical. We work together on a team and are looking for people who fit well in our Harbor Culture / Environment.
REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:
We do have some items we are looking for:
- Valid Driver’s License
- Positive Attitude
- Strong Work Ethic
- Show up on time and ready to work
- Experience / Proven Track Record in Automotive Parts Sales
- Strong understanding of the parts department
- Computer competencies (keyboard, office suite, etc.)
- You must be a solution-oriented person (not a victim)
- DMS Skills (We use DealerTrack)
- Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with ability to collaborate with others effectively
- Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
- Proven Organizational Skills
- You must like people and be nice to others
- Whatever Needs to be Done Attitude
COMPENSATION AND EARNING POTENTIAL:
These are Salary plus Incentive Based Position(s) with one of the most competitive pay opportunities in the Automotive Parts marketplace.
- Earnings Target for this position is $5,000 - $6,500 Monthly
- Annualized Target: $60,000 - $78,000
We will be happy to discuss pay during your in-person confidential interview. It is difficult to talk about compensation packages until we understand your level of experience, abilities and we land on the actual position being offered.
