Wärtsilä Shaft Line Solutions (SLS) is looking for an experienced Sales Support person to join our AMER SLS Sales Team. You will be an active member of our team working closely with our sales managers, SLS Sites and Field Service team to ensure first class customer experience. You will be responsible for Sales Support functions for commercial and naval marine business throughout the Americas. In this position you are reporting to the General Manager, Sales and you are preferably located in the US.
Your main responsibilities are
- Generate customer specific solutions, specifications and quotations according to needs of Sales, for SLS portfolio for New Build and Aftermarket business
- Bid management
- Evaluate inquires and register/maintain opportunity information in CRM
- Configure solution according to defined needs
- Preparing cost calculations according to directives and agreed targets
- Evaluate technical and environmental risks of the solution.
- Ensure that response time for sales inquiries / request /orders are met
- Perform technical assistance to Sales and customers.
- Participate in relevant sales meetings with customers when required.
- Publishing sales materials
- Organize a hand over meeting with involved parties
Main requirements in this role are

- Fluent in English and Spanish Language

Successful applicant must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship. Salary range is $65,000 - $80,000, depending on experience and education. The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Eligibility to participate in: the discretionary incentive plan assigned to the level of position upon offer of employment; medical, dental and vision coverage, 401(k) plan and flexible spending accounts, subject to plan terms; Company-paid benefits such as life insurance, short- and long-term disability, subject to applicable waiting periods. Paid time off (PTO) is accrued on a per-pay period basis in accordance with tenure in the Company; a new hire can expect 17 days per year. Twelve (12) Company-paid holidays.
