As the Sales Support Representative, you will provide lead qualification support on external sales to gain and develop customers. This includes qualifying leads and prospects in all sales channels (group and individual) and responding to customer questions, comments, and requests during these activities to grow the sales pipelines and professional development (PD) sales revenue. Your responsibilities as the Sales Support Representative will include: Becomes proficient in IFMA's technology for management of sales pipeline, such as the CRM and ZoomInfo Develops a deep understanding and the ability to effectively communicate and support individuals before and after enrollment in IFMA's PD products and services Cultivates initial engagement with leads to generate qualified opportunities Follows sales process to ensure leads are effectively entered, followed up, tracked, and monitored Conducts outbound calls to follow up on leads, informing them of new products and gathers contact information, market data, qualifiers, and other information from prospects; enters and maintains accurate data in the CRM system Works closely with the Director, Sales Operations to optimize lead generation and improve qualification; follow-ups on all marketing lead-generating programs, such as mailings, email campaigns, webinars, website inquiries, and other initiatives Manages all incoming leads to ensure that they are sufficiently qualified before handing group sales opportunities to the account managers using Microsoft Dynamics CRM Provides quote/proforma invoice requested for individual purchases and of groups of 2 to 9 Provides excellent customer service, meeting departmental communication standards Communicates customer feedback to the sales team Other duties as directed by the Executive Director, Business Development To be successful, you should have: 2-4 years of business-to-business sales, marketing (focused on lead generation), or related experience; or an Associates degree with 1-2 years related experience.
Bachelor's degree preferred. Exhibit strong telephone skills, self-motivation, and ability to multitask and pay attention to details while prioritizing tasks and completing them in a team-centric environment. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer) and basic understanding and use of standard project management and accounting software systems, databases, and web-based platforms.
