Genie Retail Energy is a Growing Electricity and Natural Gas Supplier servicing its clients through multiple brands, with Commercial and residential energy supply services, industry Green Energy offerings, and non-energy related added value home services in PJM, NEPOOL, ERCOT, Florida, and Georgia and in other markets in the US.
Our Sales Support department seeks a well-organized Sales Support Coordinator to join our Team. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, assertive, goal-oriented, a team player, and multitasker. They must possess a strong professional work ethic and exceptional written and verbal communication skills. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working within a fast-paced, ever-changing, and challenging environment, with a mix of some automated processes in place with others in the process of being automated and still others manual. The individual must have strong organizational skills to support the daily functions of the sales teams and Sales Support leadership. Background in Energy Supply/Solar.
Job Responsibilities:
- Outside/Inside Sales Vendor/Office/Agent onboarding & offtake, including document collection & processing
- Tabletop/retail store location approval & location list management
- Regular interfacing with and supporting of Training Team, developing training materials, and hosting vendor training sessions as needed
- Agent Roster Reporting to respective regulatory bodies
- Vendor Point of Contact
- Communication on VMS (Vendor Management System) documentation management
- Distribute enrollment/TPV instruction and access Information
- Monthly upload of Point of Sale docs into VMS
- Monthly distribution of rates and customer forms
- Contract/pay file management for sales
- Create and manage Checklists
- Support team with offer and campaign matrix creation in the billing systems
- Manage inventory of collateral materials and hardware
- Coordinate distribution of Sales Support and other collateral materials to vendors
- Work with brokers/vendors on inquiries and resolution of issues as they arise
- Create administer and distribute reports as needed
- Analyze data and identify key trends and performance metrics
- Compliance monitoring
- Prepare for and participate in weekly Sales/Commercial Team meetings
- Other responsibilities as needed
Requirements:
• 1-3 years of experience in commercial accounts sales and/or support role
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong track record of meeting or exceeding goals
• General understanding of energy supply pricing, contracting, billing, and invoicing framework
• Must have the ability to multi-task, manage multiple projects at once, and meet deadlines
• Must be organized and detailed oriented
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe and have had some experience working with CRM tools and or within Energy Supplier billing platforms
