Our objective is to facilitate maximum tax savings which improves our client's cash flow, allowing businesses to grow, evolve and flourish. We are immediately hiring a Sales Representative to support our office in Baton Rouge, LA.
Job Summary:
The Sales Representative will provide sales support to the Vice President and will collaborate with a multi-disciplined team to drive new business within the organization and expand our existing book of work. The Sales Representative will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, coordinating and cultivating client relationships, selling CSSI’s services, maintaining database information, and performing administrative duties.
Duties & Essential Job Functions:
1. Identify and establish new opportunities.
2. Ensure that sales targets are met.
3. Develop a client base and maintain relationships.
4. Listen in on phone calls to learn CSSI talking points and services offered.
5. Make personal calls to clients and respond to basic requests via email.
6. Establish and build relationships to create new sales opportunities.
7. Receive initial requests for information and perform follow up activities, gauge interest of a prospective client or referral source, and collect all data.
8. Input details into the CRM.
9. Continually update the CRM with activities and status of the sales pipeline.
10. Collect all data required to develop proposals and deliver completed proposals to clients.
11. Work with the technical team to establish a scope of work and cost estimates.
12. Schedule appointments between the VP and clients or referral sources.
13. Follow up on submitted proposals.
14. Follow-up post project to ensure customer satisfaction.
15. Follow up on initial payments and signature pages.
16. Typical day-to-day activities include:
- Making sales calls.
- Scheduling and attending sales meetings.
- Attending networking events and conferences.
- Tracking sales activities in the CRM.
- Delivering project proposals.
Qualifications:
Required
- Excellent verbal communication, written, and organizational skills.
- Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and ensure prompt completion of tasks and assignments.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal instructions and pre-established guidelines and timetables to perform the functions of the job.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products, internet and other database programs.
- Legal Authorization to work in the United States.
- Candidate must have strong presentation skills.
Preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university. Equivalent experience accepted in place of degree.
- Previous experience in marketing/sales and developing a client base.
Cost segregation is the method of re-classifying components and improvements of commercial buildings from real property to personal property. This process allows the assets to be depreciated on a 5, 7, or 15 year schedule instead of the traditional 27.5 or 39 year depreciation schedule of real property. Thus current taxable income will be greatly reduced and cash flow could increase by 5% – 8% of the building’s cost.
