We are looking for some energetic, focused sales professionals to join our team and earn unlimited commissions, working out of our Forest Park, IL office. All candidates would be trained on-premise and work primarily in the office. It is an outside sales job that just happens to be in an office.
Perishable Distribution Solutions has provided our customers with the best available temperature-controlled transportation solutions. To meet the personalized needs of our customers, we provide a variety of refrigerated transportation services including truckload (FTL), less-than-truckload (LTL), brokerage, warehousing, and freight consolidation.
Our fleet of more than 45 tractor-trailers along with our network of partner carriers deliver freight safely and on time. We are committed to providing exemplary service, through our drivers, carriers and support personnel.
We deliver these services through an interconnected network of 760 business units in 48 states, with a significant presence both in high-growth and mature markets. Responsibilities:
- Manage Book Of Business (BOB) ensuring constant growth in Volume, Revenue and Margin.
- Grant constant growth through hunting as % of Farming.
- Manage account maintenance from cradle to grave concept.
- Undertake market analysis and competitive research in freight industry.
- Liaise with Branch Operations in order to ensure proper SOPs are customized around client needs.
- Find freight for our own assets after they are empty with their outbound routes. Within the company protocols. Brokering out Excess freight from direct shippers to outside carriers.
- Quotations/negotiations in order to ensure proper opportunity closing.
- Work with the CRM system in order to properly manage personal pipeline and record activity that will be base for Field Sales Incentive Scheme.
- Sell and educate customers on products and services of the company
- Develop and maintain customer base
- Work closely with other company staff
- Meet and exceed sales goals
Qualifications:
- 2 years sales experience or business owner preferred
- Communicate clearly and concisely through visual, verbal, and written means
- Have customer service experience
- Prior success selling products and services to decision-makers
- Able to overcome resistance and work independently as well as with supervision
- Hard-working self-starter who thrills in ownership and risk
- Have the desire to earn more than your current income
