Mechanical Sales Representative

Location: Aurora, IL
Salary: $40K - $50K/yr. + commission

Are you a dynamic sales professional looking for an opportunity to shine? Our client is seeking a Maintenance Sales Representative to join their team in Aurora, IL. As a crucial member of the sales force, you'll be responsible for redeeming our client's annual booking plan in assigned markets and territories, utilizing their proven pricing model.
Little sales experience? No problem! This role is for the candidate who is looking to sharpen their sales skills to further their career, utilizing our client's in-depth training.
Primary Responsibilities:
Sales Expertise:

• Close total annual sales plan after completing initial training.
  
• Identify appropriate prospects, set appointments consistently, and maintain total sales activity at predetermined levels.
  
• Aggressively manage the sales cycle to close deals effectively.
  

Time Management:

• Efficiently plan and schedule appointments to maximize productivity.
  

Survey and Pricing:

• Appraise and survey mechanical systems to determine condition, age, and proper maintenance pricing.
  
• Apply our client's pricing system accurately and effectively.
  

Market Development:

• Identify prospects in assigned markets and promptly follow up on leads and referrals.
  
• Establish customer rapport, identify needs, and maintain an active funnel of prospects.
  

Sales Presentation Strategy:

• Understand prospect organizations and decision-making processes.
  
• Anticipate and answer objections, gaining commitment and understanding funding plans.
  

Company Relations:

• Build and maintain positive relations with field, office, and management personnel to resolve problems and maximize profits.
  

Documentation:

• Prepare complete, clear, and concise reports, proposals, and booking packages in a timely fashion.
  
• Maintain written supportive information relative to delays, changes, and schedules.
  

Safety:

• Promote safe work practices in the field and office, involving the Safety Department to ensure appropriate safety measures.
  
• Comply with all safety policies & procedures.
  

Special Projects:

• Provide support for any special projects as assigned by your supervisor.
  

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in Mechanical Sales or related field preferred.
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Proven ability to close sales and meet booking goals.
  
• Knowledge of mechanical systems and pricing models advantageous.
